Technology of Mechanical Anchors

This technical seminar will discuss about the latest innovations for post-installed mechanical anchors which complies with the code standard provisions regarding performance assessment criteria, installation procedure and safety.

Upon completion of this seminar, the participants will know about the working mechanisms of different mechanical anchors and what are the advantages and disadvantages of compared to each other. The participants should be able to select an appropriate mechanical anchor for an application based on load capacity, installation method, and material properties. You will be able to understand the effect of torque on mechanical expansion anchors and will be aware on the effects of over torquing and under torquing. Participants will be able to know about how to properly specify mechanical anchors and where to get the sample specifications.
