Innovating concrete‑to‑concrete connection design through advanced anchor design software

Driving value engineering & safety in post‑installed rebar design through an interim software workflows

Post-installed rebars (PIR) are widely used to connect new structural components to old concrete structures. The types of connections between reinforced concrete members can be grouped in three categories, i.e. lap splices and end anchorage. In this webinar, we will discuss the qualification, assessment, design and installation of PIR for end anchorages. We will also discuss on how to design concrete to concrete connections using an anchor design software highlighting an interim design approach providing a solution for limited existing base material thickness in end anchorage applications.
