This technical seminar discusses the importance of having the right specifications for fire protection. Upon completing this session the participant will gain awareness about the importance of firestop solutions in projects. Participants will gain knowledge about how to reduce loss of lives and assets through passive fire protection and its applications. We will tackle what are the current relevant codes and standards that we are using and what other provisions we may use as guide to select proper passive firestop solution. Lastly, we will discuss about current specifications and suggestions on specification text, drawings and details in firestop system.
